NES Cleaning Kit.

Includes Control Deck Cleaner (Model number NES-030) & Game Pak Cleaning Wand (Model number NES-031). Replacement cleaning cards and tips may be required for full usage.

Control Deck Cleaner

The Control Deck should be cleaned at least once a month or whenever dirty. Clean the Control Deck at the same time you clean your Game Paks for best results.

WARNING--NEVER CLEAN YOUR CONTROL DECK WHILE IT IS PLUGGED IN!

1. Unplug the power cord from the Control Deck at either the wall outlet (transformer) or the back of the Control Deck.

2. Open the NES cleaning cartridge by gently pressing on the tab on the side and lifting off the lid. Remove the flat Control Deck cleaning card.

3. Using your finger, apply a small amount of water* to both sides of one of the long edges of the card until it is slightly damp. *If possible, distilled water should be used. OR For maximum cleaning effect, use a mixture of 1 teaspoon isopropyl alcohol and 1 teaspoon water.

4. Reassemble the cleaning cartridge with the damp edge of the card facing out. Insert the cleaner into the Control Deck as you would a Game Pak. Push the cleaner into the down position and move the cleaner in and out 5-10 times. (During the cleaning process, the cleaner will move forward and backward about 3/4".)

5. Remove the cleaning cartridge and allow the Control Deck to dry for at least 1 HOUR before plugging it back in and turning it on.

Game Pak Cleaning Wand

1. Remove the cleaning wand from the plastic bag.

2. With your finger, apply a small amount of water* to the blue endof the cleaner until it is slightly damp.*If possible, distilled water should be used. OR For maximumcleaning effect, use a mixture of 1 teaspoon isopropyl alcohol and 1teaspoon water.

3. Rub BOTH sides of the Game Pak edge connector by pressing againstit gently with the blue end of the cleaner. Move the cleaner sideto side to clean all of the edge connector pins.

4. With the white end of the cleaner, gently dry both sides of theGame Pak edge connector.

5. Check the connector pins on both sides of the Game Pak. Theyshould be clean and have a shiny gold finish. If not, repeat steps3 and 4.

Christmas delivery

The last date for Christmas delivery is 3rd December. Please check your estimated dispatch dates, as any items with later dates than this will almost certainly not be delivered in time for Christmas. Given the additional Covid-19 delays / restrictions, we would also recommend contacting us before placing an order in November if you would prefer the certainty of an express delivery option.

Shipping is free on all games throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Destinations

All items can be shipped throughout Australia and New Zealand, and to the rest of the world. Please add items to your basket to see your delivery charge if you are outside of Australia or New Zealand.

Dispatch Times

Items are dispatched within 3 working days unless otherwise stated. Your estimated dispatch date will be shown at checkout. Some items may be in stock at our supplier and require a transfer to our dispatch centre before being sent, these will all have a later estimated dispatch date shown in your basket and on your order confirmation. Please note that these dates are estimated, and whilst we always aim to meet and often exceed these dates, there will be the occasional item that is dispatched slightly later than the estimate.

Delayed or missing items

If you have not received your item within the timeframe estimated on your dispatch confirmation, please contact us, and we will be happy to look into this for you. There can be delays caused by weather, holidays, and postal and customs backlogs. These are thankfully fairly uncommon, but please do not be alarmed if your item is a little late. On the incredibly rare occasion that an item is found to be lost, a replacement will be provided.

Please ensure that you check your delivery address before buying. We cannot be held responsible for lost items where an incorrect address has been provided.

Cancelled orders

If you need to cancel an order before it has been sent, please let us know. Note that cancelled orders due to a change of mind are subject to a 5.5% fee to cover Paypal fees for refunded transactions.

Returns

If you are unsatisfied with any of the items received (which we hope, due to our high standards, would never happen) please let us know within 7 days of receipt, as we can usually offer a replacement. Any items that require replacement must be posted to us within 14 days of a return being accepted, please ensure you obtain proof of posting / tracking..

Please ensure that you do contact us first for a return authorisation code, as returns will not be accepted without this.

In the unlikely event that any damage has occurred during delivery of your parcel, please ensure you take pictures of the inside and outside of the packaging, as these will be required to make a claim with the postal services.
